Bottom line is Johnie is saying the house in question was built to code.
This is false.
Council, which Johnie is on, apologized to the citizens because house is to big. This apology is on the public record.
Council also handed out disciplinary action to the Town Planner, Chris Cerimele because he used selective building code enforcement. This action is on the public record.
So for Johnie to say house was built to code he is just plain wrong.
Johnie says that Minturn will get the 180 million dollars when the lawsuit is finalized.
Our council also promised that we would get the 180 million dollars four years ago because there were no outs for Dean Adler, like lawsuits.
So now we have another promise of that money, I again doubt that council will get us that money.
It amazes me how council continues to lie and has no conscience and doesn't care about improving Minturn.

Johnie has allowed a house to be built in Minturn that is too big.
Johnie did not want to get a tap fee from the same homeowner, even though one was needed.
Johnie refused to fire Chris Cerimele, town planner, for not following correct building codes.
Johnie apologized to the Minturn citizens for the house being to big. He did not want to bring the house into compliance.
Johnie rents land from someone that violates the nuisance ordinance.
Dec. 7, 2011, council meting
Johnie, voted to raise our water and trash rates by 5%.
Like we do not pay enough for water already?
Then he gave a bonus of $10,000 to split between our ten employees.
Nov. 2, 2011. Here is a quote from Council
"Town council is working during the budget season to trim the budget in every area possible".
Maybe trim the budget in areas that affect the citizens. But he sure proved that he isn't trimming the budget for his friends that work for the town. For them he gives them bonuses.
Minturn corruption at its finest.

We currently have one house that is to big and did not have to pay tap fees for an additional kitchen in a second house. The only way this could of happened is if Someone got paid off.
Jim White our town manager is using our tax payer money to improve his house that the citizens pay for.
How in this economy can he use tax payer money to improve his house while the town of Minturn needs many improvements?
How about improving our sidewalks, installing sidewalks in south Minturn, installing a bike path to create more revenue for the town?
DRUG TEST MINTURN EMPLOYEES
Drug testing of our town employees, Jim White and Jerry Bumgardner on Town council refuse to do.
While Jerry is against legalizing pot Jerry doesn't care when town employees smoke on the job.
Jerry is just another hypocrite on our town council.
I use Jerry as an example because he was so outspoken against the town allowing pot shops. Every other council member also is refusing to drug test our town employees.
One can only surmise that they condone our employees smoking pot because they are their friends yet when a legit pot business wants to create revenue for the town our council will fight that all the way.
The citizens voted to allow pot shops yet our council is refusing to pass an ordinance to regulate it.
